Sound Journeys – August 2025
Soundscape Meditations for Summer Nights
Sunday August 3rd - 7pm till 9pm
Thursday August 14th - 7pm till 9pm
Sunday August 17th - 7pm till 9pm
Jennie Muskett is a professional musician and composer with an award-winning career spanning decades. How music effects our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing has been a life-long fascination. It has long been realised that the effect of music goes much deeper than just a sense of emotional well-being; harmonious sounds also have a healing effect on the body at a cellular level.
Now, with an array of fascinating instruments including gongs, miraphones, ocean drums and more, Jennie’s soundscapes can bring us back into into harmony.
“Think of the body as being an orchestra comprised of many different instruments, some of which may be “off the note” and need re-tuning, and the gongs as being the tuning medium, and you have a pretty accurate picture of what happens during a gong bath.” Sheila Whittaker (musician, sound healer and leading gong practitioner.)
All you need do is to lie down, get comfy and close your eyes. The sounds will carry you on a beautiful journey of imagination and creativity.
Please bring a mat or something comfy to lie on – and a blanket to keep yourself cosy while you rest. A bottle of water is a good idea too. Please arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
